Job Title: Project Architect
Location: Bellevue, Washington
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience Level: 4–10 years
Salary Range: $75,000–$110,000 

MZA Architecture is seeking a talented and motivated Project Architect with 4–10 years of professional experience to join our Bellevue office. 

MZA is a design-focused architecture firm with extensive experience in multifamily, mixed-use, commercial and restaurant tenant improvements, and hospitality projects throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We are looking for a well-rounded candidate who can contribute from early design through construction administration. Experience with garden-style apartments and affordable housing is a plus. 

The ideal candidate has the experience to lead project documentation, consultant coordination, code analysis, and project delivery. Architectural licensure is preferred but not required. 

 

Qualifications 

  • 4–10 years of professional architectural experience 
  • Professional degree in architecture 
  • Strong proficiency in Revit 
  • Experience preparing and coordinating architectural permit and construction documents 
  • Working knowledge of applicable building codes, accessibility requirements, and construction methods 
  • Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and permitting agencies 
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a project team 
  • Architectural licensure or active progress toward licensure is preferred
