MZA Architecture is proud to announce our partnership with Jacobsen|Daniels (J|D) and a team of experienced firms to provide project management support services at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). This exciting venture aligns perfectly with MZA’s commitment to innovation and enhancing the passenger experience.

The project, with a five-year horizon and $7 million budget, seeks to expand and revamp dining and retail offerings within the airport. This ambitious initiative will unlock potential within Sea-Tac’s space-constrained environment, seamlessly integrating with the airport’s growth strategy.

J|D’s extensive experience managing tenant improvements at Sea-Tac, including premium lounges and innovative concessions, positions them perfectly to lead this project. Their commitment to diversity in contracting further aligns with MZA’s values, as the team comprises exclusively small, minority, or women-owned enterprises.

“J|D has enjoyed a longstanding partnership with the Port of Seattle and its tenants for over ten years,” says Matthew Shaw, Vice President at J|D. “We’re honored to continue this collaboration and play a role in advancing travel and enriching the lives of those in Seattle, Tacoma, and the Pacific Northwest.”

MZA is excited to be a part of this transformative project at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. We look forward to working alongside J|D and our partners to create a dynamic and welcoming environment for travelers from around the globe.
