Evoke is a contemporary multifamily residential community located in Kirkland. The building’s massing is sculpted through a series of horizontal shifts and material contrasts, blending textured dark brick siding with warm wood composite wall panels. Large windows, recessed balconies, and articulated corners foster a dynamic street presence while maintaining privacy for residents. Landscaped courtyards and activated ground-level retail create a vibrant connection to the urban fabric, establishing Evoke as a refined yet approachable addition to the city’s growing neighborhood context.
The project’s massing emphasizes a horizontal expression, with articulated bays clad in wood composite panels and recessed balconies framed by dark brick. Broad roof overhangs extend the architecture into the surrounding landscape.
Approaching from the pedestrian path, the warm materiality of wood composites softens the overall form, while carefully placed evergreens integrate the building within its lakeside context.
Landscape and architecture interweave at the ground plane, where raised planters and articulated pathways define outdoor spaces and extend the architectural language beyond the building envelope.
