Xi’an Space Museum is an immersive destination featuring a five-story building with unobstructed views of exhibits, an observation deck for panoramic city views, and a unique “Space Walk” bridge. More than a museum, the Xi’an Space Experience Center is conceived as an immersive odyssey—one that fuses the wonder of space exploration with the dynamism of contemporary culture, retail, and recreation. Its architecture, spatial choreography, and interactive experiences together form a singular destination that redefines how we engage with the future.
At the heart of the experience is the Space Walk—a transparent, curvilinear bridge suspended within the atrium. Like walking in zero gravity, this elevated promenade offers sweeping views of the city, blurring the boundary between Earth and the imagined cosmos.
The Observation Deck features a semi-outdoor catwalk animated by panoramic screens, where AI-generated imagery reveals speculative planets and celestial vistas. Meanwhile, the Briefing Deck envelops guests in a 360-degree 4D AI environment, merging digital exploration with spatial storytelling. The journey is complemented by curated retail, dining, and lifestyle offerings—each space thematically tuned to echo the aesthetics of deep space and futuristic living.
Spanning five levels, the center is structured as a sequence of “decks,” each evoking the modular logic of a space station. From the curving forms of the Welcome Deck, reminiscent of a spacecraft interior with free-flowing geometries and ambient lighting, to the Exploration Deck, where holographic panels and active gaming zones simulate the feel of an off-world expedition base, the design invites visitors into a fully constructed narrative.
Clad in reflective metallic skin and shaped with sinuous, organic curves, the building becomes an urban icon—an architectural homage to the spacecraft of science fiction, yet rooted in sustainable innovation. Through advanced environmental strategies, the center not only looks to the stars but also answers the urgent call of the Earth.
Ultimately, the Xi’an Space Experience Center is designed as a place of inspiration—for all ages, backgrounds, and imaginations. It invites visitors to engage not only with the science of the universe, but with the thrill of possibility itself.
The central atrium of the Xi’an Space Experience Center unfolds as a luminous, multi-level nexus—where futuristic structural forms, immersive lighting, and interactive zones converge to simulate the interior of a space vessel. Suspended walkways, astronaut figures, and engaged visitors create a dynamic environment that blurs the boundaries between science fiction and reality.
Bathed in cool illumination and framed by sweeping architectural forms, this central gallery invites visitors into an interactive hub of exploration. Escalators ascend through sculpted voids, while children and families gather around tactile displays and scale models—transforming the space into a living, learning environment at the intersection of technology and imagination.
Set beneath the luminous canopy of the Astro Dome, this celestial lounge offers guests a moment of pause amidst the cosmos. Surrounded by panoramic galactic visuals, visitors dine, converse, and ascend the grand illuminated stairway—where everyday experience meets the extraordinary atmosphere of outer space.
