Located along the riverfront of Zhengzhou’s new urban core, the Binhe Civic Center reimagines public space as a dynamic cultural archipelago. Inspired by the patterns of islands and flowing water, the project weaves together a stadium, library, and recreation center within an interconnected landscape of green roofs, open plazas, and ecological corridors. Sustainable strategies, including solar energy, rainwater harvesting, and biomass systems, integrate with the architecture’s sculptural forms, creating a vibrant civic destination that celebrates community, movement, and environmental stewardship.
